The Sure Breaking Limits Programme is a set of FREE PE & PSHE resources designed to give young people aged 9-11 the confidence to move by making it fun, inclusive and accessible for all, regardless of gender, race or ability.
The programme covers the topics of Confident Mover, Team Player, and Goal Setter, which are quality-assured by the PSHE Association and accredited by afPE. Plus a brand-new fourth module called Game Changers developed in association with FIFA Women’s World Cup™ and accredited by the afPE. This new resource uses the power of football to equip girls with the confidence they need to move, with the support of boys as allies.
The classroom, gym, and assembly resources are user-friendly, with no specialist knowledge required. They are also specifically linked to the curriculum standards in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
The programme is also available for use at home for free with parents or home educators.
Olympian / Paralympian Sports Day Competition
Our exciting competition to WIN an Olympian / Paralympian at your sports day this summer is now LIVE!
For your chance to win, here’s what you need to do:
1. Sign up and download the free resources
2. Run any of the three lessons, including Confident Mover, Team Player and Goal Setter
3. Submit your students’ entries into the competition by creating a poster, demonstrating how they’ve overcome a barrier to movement, whether personal or by aiding a classmate (e.g., boosting confidence).
Get your students thinking about how they overcame barriers to movement within the lessons, whether it be inclusion, self-confidence, diversity or just an all-round positive mindset.
Check out the competition entry PDF within the resource packs to find out more and send entries to surebreakinglimits@nationalschoolspartnership.com. The deadline to enter is May 7th 2024.
We can’t wait to hear how you and your students are overcoming barriers to movement.

“These will be fun and engaging additions to primary teacher’s PSHE toolkit, and support pupils to recognise the benefits of movement and exercise, while also using sports to explore the importance of respect and inclusion in relationships.”
