Prepare for an exciting NEW challenge! Teach glass recycling and ignite your pupil’s passion to become Glass Guardians. Unleash their creativity in our competition to repurpose a glass item for a chance to win great prizes. Let’s inspire the next eco-conscious generation!
Explore the Glass Guardians Challenge! Pupils become innovators, using their creativity and passion for sustainability to design or take a photo of how they’ve reused a glass item to give it a second life.
The most creative entry will not only secure a £50 Hobbycraft voucher for the winner but also £250 for their classroom. The competition closes on 13th December 2024, so make sure all entries are submitted in time. T&C’s apply.

What’s included?
A launch assembly and curriculum-aligned activities take pupils on a journey to discover the environmental benefits of reducing, reusing, and recycling materials.
Each resource pack for 5-7s and 7-11s includes:

- A Mission Activity PowerPoint
- Mission Activity worksheets spanning the science and D&T/technology curriculum
- Access to an online digital experiment including a tour of a glass recycling plant

Glass Guardians Competition
Get creative with sustainability this term and explore the ‘Choose How You Reuse’ challenge with Glass Guardians. Pupils will put their creativity and sustainable thinking to the test as they design or take a photo of how they’ve reused a glass item to give it a second life.
A great idea could be for pupils to give their reused glass items as festive gifts or donate to their seasonal fairs!
The winning pupil with take home a £50 Hobby Craft voucher and the winning class will get £250 for their classroom. Get your entries in quick as the competition closes December 13th 2024!
