Money Matters: Get Credit Clever
Because money matters, and we know it.
We are looking for schools in Liverpool, Bolton and Derby to deliver the pilot Money Matters programme to students aged 11-14. Brought to you by The Very Group, Money Matters hits the PSHE curriculum and Gatsby Benchmarks 5 and 6 and is all about improving young people’s knowledge of credit; what it is, how it works, and how to be responsible with it – crucial for life beyond school.
Get Credit Clever helps you to deliver vital financial education to your students across years 7, 8 and 9. You will also be joined by a The Very Group representative who will help you deliver Get Credit Clever to your class.
What’s included:
- A 20-minute PowerPoint Lesson – ready-to-teach with all the information you need
- Worksheets – worksheets that are ready to print
- A fun game – to help your students better understand credit
- Homework sheet – to encourage engagement from parents and careers too
If you want a volunteer to come to your school, all you need to do is register on the NSP page. We’ll then email you from moneymatters@nationalschoolspartnership.com asking what your class size is and what dates work best for you.
To be eligible, you must be free to deliver the lesson and have a volunteer visit between 19th June – 21st July 2023. The places are first come first serve, so message us now to secure your involvement!
Those that take part and complete all the required surveys (teacher and student) also have the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes*!
