Samsung Solve for Tomorrow: Next Gen – Competition Terms and Conditions
By entering this Competition (“Competition”) you (the “Participant”) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). Any information or instructions published by the Promoter about this Competition on the National Schools Partnership website form part of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter
1. The Promoter of Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Schools is Samsung Electronics (UK) Limited, Samsung House, 2000 Hillswood Drive, Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 0RS.
Eligibility
2. This Competition is open to all secondary school teachers (“Participants”) in the UK and Republic of Ireland who teach students aged 11 to 15 years old.
3. Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of its group companies or their families or households or anyone professionally connected to this programme are not eligible to enter.
4. No purchase is necessary to enter.
Competition Period
5. The Competition period will open at 00.00 (BST) on 25 August 2025, and will close on the 30 September 23.59 (BST) issue.
Prizes
6. Posters - There are two hundred (200) Design Thinking Posters (“Posters”) to give away during the Competition Period.
7. Prizes -
· First Prizes: four (4) Olympic Galaxy Z Flip6 Phones
· Second Prizes: Two (2) Galaxy Book4 Edge (15.6” X Plus, 16GB), a Copilot+ PC.
· Third Prizes: Two (2) Essential Monitor S3.
(each a “Prize” and together the “Prizes”)
8. The Prizes carry no cash value, are non-transferable and may not be substituted by the winners. The Promoter may substitute a Prize of equal or greater value for any Prize.
Entry
9. Participants will receive one (1) printed Design Thinking Poster if they are within the first two hundred (200) Participants to register. Participants must register before the 30th September 23:59 to be
eligible.
10. To enter the Competition relating to the Prizes, Participants must complete all of the following steps to constitute an “Entry”:
11. Register for ‘Samsung Solve for Tomorrow: Next Gen’ from the National Schools Partnership website at the following link https://nationalschoolspartnership.com/initiatives/samsung-next-gen-2025/
12. Email a photo of the Innovation Poster (either printed copy of the free digital version available upon registration OR of the Poster received from Samsung by post) on display in their school to
samsungnextgen@nationalschoolspartnership.com
Prize Winner Selection
13. Participants who register and email a photo of the Design Thinking Poster on display at their school to samsungnextgen@nationalschoolspartnership.com will be entered into the Samsung tech prize
draw, and winners will be selected at random from this pool. (The Design Thinking Poster they have on display can be a printed copy of the free digital version available upon registration OR of the
Poster received from Samsung by post.)
14. The First Prizes will be awarded to the Participants who are the first four (4) drawn at random from all Entries at the end of the Competition Period.
15. The Second Prizes will be awarded to the two (2) Participants who are the fifth and sixth Entries drawn at random from all Entries at the end of the Competition Period The Third Prizes will be awarded
to the two (2) Participants who are the seventh and eighth Entries drawn at random from all Entries at the end of the Competition Period.
16. The winners will be notified using the email address provided on sign up to the account registered with National Schools Partnership.
17. The winners will be notified after the competition window has closed on 30 September 23.59 (BST), between the 1 October 00.00 (BST) and 3 October 23:59 (BST). The winners will have five (5)
working days from the date the notification was sent to claim their Prize by responding to the Promoter’s email (a “Claim”).
18. In the event a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to claim the Prize in the time required, the winner shall forfeit their Prize and it will be awarded to a substitute winner, selected in accordance
with these Terms and Conditions.
Privacy and Data Protection
19. Other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions or for the purposes of operating the Competition, the details and information provided by the Participants will not be used for any promotional purpose, nor shall they be passed to any third party with the exception of We Are Futures Limited for the purposes of managing Competition.
20. The Participant hereby consents to such personal information being used for this purpose and confirms they agree with the Promoter’s privacy policy available at www.samsung.com/uk/info/privacy. The Participant may withdraw consent to such use of personal information by writing to the Promoter or by using the opt-out process outlined in the privacy policy.
General
21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Competition whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.
22. The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the Terms and Conditions of this Competition.
23. By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees to release the Promoter from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection
with the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Schools or with the acceptance, possession or use of any Prize (except death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence, for fraud, or otherwise as
prohibited by law).
24. All Prizes are subject to current tax law in the local jurisdiction, and may be considered to be a taxable fringe benefit to those who have participated and won under these Terms and Conditions.
Winners are responsible for declaring, if applicable, the local currency equivalent cost of the Prize as earnings to the local tax authorities in the country that the Participant is resident.
25. This Competition Schools is governed by English law.
