For the second year running, Equinor and the Science Museum aim to encourage the creators and entrepreneurs of tomorrow to think outside the box and come up with something truly unique. Now you can encourage your pupils to take part with the Young Imagineers resource and competition – be in the first 150 schools to register and you will receive a set of free printed resources.
The Young Imagineers resource will help develop your pupil’s problem-solving skills but also provides the perfect preparation for entering the Young Imagineers Competition. Help to engage the UK’s youngest and most creative and curious minds by encouraging your pupils to enter the competition, and their amazing ideas could be made into real-life prototypes to be displayed at the Science Museum in London!
The first 150 schools to register will receive a set of printed resources for you to work through in class. Included in the resource you will find:
- Lesson plan packed full of activities
- Classroom presentation
- Pupil activity sheets
- Competition entry form
With strong links to the Design & Technology curriculum the Young Imagineers resource will take your pupils on a thrilling voyage of discovery into the past, present and future of ideas and inventions! Register now and spark their creativity.

‘What invention would you create to make tomorrow’s world a better place?’

Plus, there are lots of other prizes up for grabs including a bespoke-designed experience day at the Science Museum, an annual family pass to Wonderlab: The Equinor Gallery at the Science Museum, 50 copies of the book This Book Thinks You’re a Scientist and Science museum goodie bags!
