Water Protectors is a free geography and PSHE curriculum-linked challenge that helps KS2 pupils explore water conservation in a fun, creative, hands-on way. This module contains the following resources:
- PowerPoint presentation
- Water saving card game
- Take-home pledge and tracking chart
There are two options to deliver the content:
Option 1:
- Kick off with a 20-minute assembly, to help inspire pupils and help them reflect on ways to save water locally.
- Pupils aged 9-11 take part in the 1-hour Water Protectors lesson, and learn water saving habits for home and school.
- Pupils take home the pledge and tracking chart, and track the impact of their water saving habits in real time.
Option 2:
- Pupils aged 9-11 take part in the Water Protectors Extended lesson, and learn water saving habits for home and school.
- Pupils take home the pledge and tracking chart, and track the impact of their water saving habits in real time.
