Malala Youth Voice
To celebrate the release of the documentary filmed He Name Me Malala on 6th November 2015, The National Schools partnership, Into Film and Fox Searchlight Pictures created Malala Youth Voice.
This educational programme uses Malala’s inspiring story- brought to life in the powerful film trailer- to support the citizenship, PSHE, English and media studies curricula for students aged 13-19.
Malala Youth Voice promotes a young and popular role model to engage students in human rights issues, with an emphasis on education and give students the tools, confidence and enthusiasm to become active citizens who can use public speaking, filmmaking and social media skills for positive campaign action.
Download the resources, which include: Teacher notes and curriculum links, assembly plan and PowerPoint presentation, 2x lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations and activity sheets.
