How the Sure Breaking Limits Programme benefits students
1 in 3 young people express self-doubt when taking on a new challenge. The Sure Breaking Limits Programme supports students during these critical years to give all students the confidence to move, however they want.
With curriculum-links across all four nations, Sure Breaking Limits is a unique programme that has been designed for delivery within the PSHE and PE curriculum. In both lessons, students will be introduced to the key aspects of the topic and complete a series of activities designed to get the heart pumping.

Introducing three exciting topics
Three closely linked sets of ready-to-use lesson plans and resources will launch at key moments throughout the year:
Topic 1: Confident Mover (launching October 2022)
This topic enables students to explore physical movement and empowers them to get active in a way that’s authentic to themselves. Students will learn to build the confidence to move and overcome barriers such as puberty, body image and ability. Includes a kick-off assembly to get the whole school engaged.
Topic 2: Team Player (launching January 2023)
Focusing on the importance of including everyone through movement, Team Player will teach students how movement is not always equal for everyone and helps them develop interpersonal skills to create more inclusive environments. This is done through a focus on teamwork and leadership, and supports them in building positive and respectful relationships.
Topic 3: My Goals, My Choices (launching March 2023)
Taking a holistic approach to goal setting, this topic helps students to understand the importance of setting goals to create positive outcomes through movement. Young people will focus on personal achievements over competition and understand how to develop their own positive mindset when working towards their own goals.
Register today for free, ready-to-teach resources for PE and PSHE that help teachers get students active and break their own limits in sport and beyond.
*£100 sports equipment voucher available for 5x primary/secondary/all though/special school teachers who register to our Sure Breaking Limits Programme before 31st October 2022. Winners will be drawn at random and notified in November 2022.
