The UK’s largest skills and careers event, is back for 2017, bigger and better than ever before. There have been over 830 bookings to date and more than 58,680 people from schools and colleges are expected to attend.
The Skills Show helps to accelerate young people’s work-related skills to give them the best start in their careers after school. With a lot more skill-based activities, personalised advice and information from a range of careers experts, insightful expert talks from numerous industries, student performances and demonstrations and one-to-one opportunities to integrate with local and nationwide potential employers.
The Skills Show is for schools and colleges to inspire them with the latest education and job opportunities. It is also for employers and organisations to exhibit at The Skills Show or to sponsor the event, parents and families as well as young adults to learn about the variety of skills and different available career opportunities or to determine their next career move in an interactive and stress free environment.
The Skills Show is divided into five different industry sectors to target to all individual different career aspirations or interests. These sectors include: construction & logistics, Engineering & Technology, health & hospitality, digital & business and creative & design.
