BBC Children in Need is partnering with Lloyds Bank to bring back the second year of the huge fundraising event, The Big Spotacular!
Spotacular’s purpose is to fundraise for Children in Need and as a result, the participation in the event will have a positive impact on children’s skill development, including teamwork, communication, confidence, self-motivation and empathy, through their involvement young people will learn about the cause of the charity whilst they raise money to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people within the UK.
Last year nearly £6 million was raised over just one week, by over 17,500 schools and nurseries across the entire UK. This year (13th-17th November) thousands of nurseries and school will be involved in a range of fundraising activities including Pudsey’s Round Pound Countdown, wearing spotty fancy dress, selling spotty cakes and taking part in spotty sponsored challenges.
