Root for Veg – Stand up for your plate & the planet
The Knorr®, Root for Veg programme, is a brand-new cross-curricular programme aimed at primary schools across the UK! Teach your pupils about the effects that consuming too much meat has on the planet, the benefits of introducing lots of new veggies to their favourite dishes & the importance of Cheating On Meat so they can stand up for their plate and their planet. With the free teaching resources and mouth-watering meat free recipes, your pupils can lead a movement.
Your pupils will build empathy and activism skills in an engaging way; through fun activities, discussions, role-plays, craft and even a hands-on growing challenge!
Knorr® Root for Veg is linked to the Design & Technology, Science, Geography and PSHE curriculum. There is even a whole school assembly and competition available to help the whole school learn more about small ways to make a big impact on the planet.
Register today to Knorr® Root for Veg to stand up for your plate & the planet.
The first 500 schools* who register will receive:
- Knorr® Root for Veg seed packets for the whole school
