The ready-to-teach Always #RethinkYourReaction resource challenges students to create campaigns that encourage people to rethink their reaction to periods – so no one loses confidence when they get theirs.
Students can enter the #RethinkYourReaction activist challenge competition and be in with the chance to win £2,000, an Apple MacBook Air, a DSLR camera kit and more.
What you’ll get?
We’ve created curriculum-linked resources to help you deliver the programme. Including:
- Ready-to-go assembly PowerPoint including video stimulus and script
- Lesson resource featuring real-world examples of young activists
- Campaign planning resources
- Competition entry form.
Why should schools take part?
The Always #RethinkYourReaction education programme is designed to embolden all young people to speak up, create positive change and put an end to period shame in their school or local community.
The free resources will develop student-voice, support mental wellbeing and can be delivered with little planning as part of your tutor time, PSHE or Citizenship lessons.
