The Staying on Track competition by Great Western Railway focused on the issue of sustainability by encouraging pupils from the South West region to explore the national and historical treasures at their doorstep. It aimed to educate them on the importance of preserving these local landmarks for future generations. They were invited to submit a drawing of a local landmark they wished to protect along with an explanation of how they would help it environmentally ‘stay on track’.
Huge congratulations to King’s School and Nursery in Plymouth which sent in some fantastic entries! The school won themselves a £150 Amazon voucher and had 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
