Design Futures competition winners announced!

This year students aged 11-14 across the UK were challenged to put their creativity to the test by designing a tracksuit for urban sportswear, Illusive London’ s new range. The competition and curriculum-linked lessons gave students the opportunity to learn more about the fashion industry and the design process of creating a garment, and the necessary tools they would need to be the next design sensation.

The competition resulted in some fantastic, edgy, and captivating design entries, showcasing the talent amongst young people, and a promising future in the fashion industry!

We are now pleased to be able to announce the winners – our huge congratulations to all the young designers:

1^st place:

Shaza (13) from Holy Trinity CofE School
Shaza wins £500 in Illusive vouchers, a goody bag, invitation to an awards event hosted by Illusive London / SikSilk* and, most excitingly, her design will be made and sold by Illusive, with 100% of the profits going to her school!

2^nd place:

Ella (14), St Alban’s Girls School,

Ella wins £350 in Illusive vouchers, a goody bag and an invitation to an awards event, hosted by Illusive London / SikSilk

3^rd place:
