1.The competition is open to all primary age children in mainland England, Scotland and Wales, who attend a school that has registered for the ‘Message in a Bottle Top’ programme, except for relatives of We are Futures, Composite Prime and Lucky North.
2.No purchase necessary.
3.Only one entry per pupil.
4.An entry is defined as a completed competition slip found at the back of the competition leaflet. The slip must be completed in full to be considered.
5.One winning school/class/pupil or group will be chosen based on the Lucky North’s/Composite Prime’s judging decision.
6.To be eligible for this competition, the pupil must attend a school that has registered for the ‘Message in a Bottle Top’ programme and have the full permission of a teacher, parent or guardian.
7. Pupil’s entries must be submitted by a teacher or parent by sending the completed competition entry form to competitions@nationalschoolspartnership.com The competition entry form can be found within the resource, downloaded at www.nationalschoolspartnership.com/initiatives/message-in-a-bottle-top.
8.Entries must be received by the competition close date of Friday 20th May 2022.
9.The Promoter reserves the right to revise this date and extend the period for accepting entries for the competition in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.
10.For an entry to be eligible it must meet the competition entry requirements.
11.Only the winners and runners up will be notified by email and/or telephone within 14 working days of the competition close date. Winners must accept their prize within 7 days of being notified.
12.All entries submitted cannot be returned and are the property of Composite Prime/Lucky North and all other intellectual property rights and interests will be and are hereby assigned to Composite Prime/Lucky North. The entry may be used for, amongst other things, post-event publicity (including reproduction of quotes) or for internal purposes including newsletters, across social media and presentations by the Promoter and Composite Prime/Lucky North.
13.The first prize-winner will receive a playground makeover worth £5,000. The prize is non-transferable and non-negotiable.
14. Second and third place prize-winners will receive a tablet worth over £100.
15. The ten runners up will be invited to feature in an online exhibition where their murals/sculptures will be displayed for the public to vote on. By submitting entries you are consenting to them being part of this final online exhibition.
16. All prizes will be awarded on condition that winning schools agree to take part in Composite Prime, and We are Futures publicity requests as appropriate. If this condition is not met by the winning school and pupil(s), the prize will be awarded to another entrant that does agree to this condition. Personal details of the winning pupil/school details will not be passed to anyone other than the Promoter.
17. The Promoter reserves the right in his/her reasonable discretion: a. to disqualify any competitor whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the promotion and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct. b. to declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but not limited to any error(s) on this website, and/or other printed materials) or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the promotion materially affecting the result of the promotion or the number of claimants or the value of claims. c. to add to or to waive any rules and prizes on reasonable notice. d. and/or to cancel the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control.
18. Incorrect, incomplete, or illegal entries will not be accepted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, undelivered, delayed, damaged or mislaid entries.
18.The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and disqualify any entry which is not in accordance with the rules.
