Terms and Conditions
The NatWest Group Showcase Your CareerSense Competition prize draw will take place from 4th October 2022 until 24th March 2023.
By entering this competition (the ‘Competition‘) you (the ‘Participant‘) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (‘Terms and Conditions‘). Any information or instructions published by the Promoter about the Competition on the National Schools Partnership website form part of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter
- The Promoter of this Competition is We Are Futures and the National Schools Partnership. Registered address: 73 Cornhill, London, EC3V 3QQ on behalf of NatWest Group plc. Registered office: 36 St Andrew Square, Edinburgh, United Kingdom, EH2 2YB.

- The Participant hereby consents to such personal information being used for this purpose and confirms they agree with the Promoter’s privacy policy, linked above. The Participant may withdraw consent to use of personal information by writing to the Promoter.
Eligibility
- This Competition is open to all secondary school students and young people in the UK and ROI aged 13-24 years old (‘Participants‘).
- Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of its group companies or their families or households or anyone professionally connected to this Competition are not eligible to enter.
- No purchase is necessary to enter.
Competition Period
- The Competition will open at 00.00 (BST) on 4th October 2022 and close at 23.00 (BST) on 24th March 2023 (‘the Competition Period‘).
Prizes
- 2 winners will be notified of their award by 19th April 2023 and presented with their award during the week commencing 15th May. Each prize will consist of 1x personal laptop.
Entry
- The Competition is open to Participants from England & Wales under the NatWest brand and from Scotland under the Royal Bank of Scotland brand.
- To enter the Competition, Participants must submit a photograph or short video (30-second maximum) to ‘careersense@nationalschoolspartnership.com’ demonstrating a skill you’re building, and short description detailing how what you’re doing in the photo or video is helping you to develop a transferable skill which will support you in a future career.
- Entries must be emailed to ‘careersense@nationalschoolspartnership.com’ with a completed Submission Form and the subject header Showcase Your CareerSense Competition. We cannot accept entries if this form is not completed in full. Entries without a Submission Form will be void.
- Participants can only enter the competition ONCE, and your first submission will be accepted and entered into the competition.
- Participants consent to being contacted, via the email address used to make their submission, about NatWest’s CareerSense programme.
- The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify Entries which it considers do not comply with these terms and conditions or any Participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Competition.
- The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of a Participant.
- Fully completed Entries must be emailed to ‘careersense@nationalschoolspartnership.com’ no later than the end of the Competition Period. Entries posted online after the Competition Period will not be eligible for Entry.
Winner Selection
- Competition entries will be shortlisted by the Promoter and shared with NatWest Group. Winners will be selected by a NatWest Group judging panel in April 2023.
- The decision of NatWest Group shall be final. No correspondence or negotiation will be entered into by the Promoter concerning either the decision or the result.
- The winners will be notified via the email address used to submit their competition entry, at the end of April 2023. In the event of no response from the winner within 5 working days, another winner will be selected.
- Prizes will be awarded during the week commencing 15th May 2023.
Use of the Entries / Content by the Promoter
- The Promoter and NatWest Group may repost Competition Entry Content produced by the winners on any of its websites or any social networking website, all Content received by it in connection with this Competition at any time and for any reason.
- All Participants hereby provide a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, transferable licence to the Promoter and NatWest Group to use the Content submitted for any purpose, including without limitation for advertising the Promoter’s products. The Participant hereby waives all moral rights they have in the Content submitted to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Safeguarding
- Participants are required to agree to these terms and conditions via a link in the competition detail and submissions form. All Participants over the age of 13 are able to provide their own valid consent.
Privacy and Data Protection
- Other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions or for the purposes of operating the Competition, the personal details and information provided by the Participant when entering the Competition or claiming the Prize will not be used for any promotional purpose, nor shall they be passed to any third party other than the following:

- The Participant hereby consents to such personal information being used for this purpose and confirms they agree with the Promoter’s privacy policy available at https://nationalschoolspartnership.com/privacy-policy/. The Participant may withdraw consent to such use of personal information by writing to the Promoter or by using the opt-out process outlined in the privacy policy.
General
- The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Competition whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’s control.
- The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the Terms and Conditions of this Competition.
- The Promoter will not be responsible or liable for: (a) any failure to receive Entries due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control; (b) any unseen transmissions or entries; (c) any computer or communications related malfunctions or failures; (d) any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the Promoter; or (e) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Competition.
- By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees to release the Promoter from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Competition or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any Prize (except death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence, for fraud, or otherwise as prohibited by law).
- This Competition is governed by English law.
