The Brush Time Tales Competition by Aquafresh Schools Club invited pupils to submit their own two-minute story they could listen to while brushing their teeth. The initiative aimed to educate pupils aged 5-11 on good oral hygiene and encourage them to brush their teeth for longer.

Out of hundreds of entries, Brittni D’Souza from St Edwards C of E Primary School won the competition with her enchanting story about Hugo the friendly monster, who helps his best friend Amy receive a visit from the Tooth Fairy.
“Brittni is a natural storyteller and loves creating wonderful stories to entertain her friends and family. The Aquafresh Brush Time Tales competition was perfect to spark her creativity, as well as helping to make brush time more fun in our house!” Brittni’s mum commented.
Brittni won an iPad and an illustration of her story brought to life by Famous Five illustrator Becka Moor (pictured). Her school will also receive £500 worth of Oxford Reading Vouchers.
Thank you to everyone who entered the Brush Time Tales competition from Aquafresh Schools Club. Judges were blown away by the captivating entries that were received from pupils across the UK!
