Welcome to the My Little Town resource page, packed with fun and engaging cross-curricular resources to teach Key Stage 1 pupils all about Road Safety.
TOTAL Little Learners and National Schools Partnership have created this set of highly educational, fun, flexible and engaging resources for Key Stage 1 teachers and pupils. The ‘My Little Town’ activities have been produced by teachers and contain strong curriculum links to help you achieve your learning objectives and teach your pupils all about road safety.

All seven lessons and associated activities are linked to specific areas of the curriculum and the QCA framework, but have also been designed to be flexible enough to pick up and run with.
All printed materials (competition leaflets and stickers) have now been allocated but if you did not receive them you can still download the teacher notes, all the activity sheets and the competition/homework leaflet.
Brum’s competition requires pupils to get creative and design their own road safety badge that will remind other children to stay safe.
• The school returning the most entries will win:
£300 to spend on classroom equipment and Little Learners goody bags containing reflective clothing and a torch for every pupil at the school.
• For the most eye-catching design one pupil will win:
A year’s family pass (two adults, three children) to all Merlin Attractions including: London Dungeon, Thorpe Park, Sea Life Centres, LEGOLAND and more plus, Little Learners goody bags containing reflective clothing and a torch for every pupil at their school.
• Competition deadline:
All entries must be received by 2nd December, with winners being notified in writing by 11th December. Prizes will be awarded in January 2010 when schools return after the Christmas break.
